Raid Mindset

A raid in SAND Raiders of Sophie is a risk cycle. You prepare, enter, gather information, make decisions under pressure, and try to leave before the situation turns against you.

A strong raid plan is not about forcing every fight. It is about knowing what you came for and when to stop.

Prepare A Simple Goal

Choose one goal before deploying:

• Learn the area.
• Test your Trampler handling.
• Practice avoiding unnecessary fights.
• Bring back a small amount of useful progress.

A simple goal makes it easier to decide whether a run succeeded.

Manage Contact

If you encounter other players or dangerous PvE pressure, slow down. Ask whether the fight helps your goal. If not, reposition or leave.

Do not assume any tactic works every time. Player behavior, updates, and crew size can change the outcome.

Protect The Trampler Plan

Your Trampler supports the raid, but it can also become a liability if you overcommit. Keep your plan readable and avoid putting the Trampler where recovery becomes difficult.

Know When To End The Run

A raid does not need to be long to be successful. If you achieved your goal or learned something valuable, leaving is a good decision.

After-Action Review

After the raid, write down one decision to repeat and one decision to avoid. This keeps improvement practical and prevents repeated losses from becoming guesswork.
